AAU energy has recently released a video, where prof. Birgitte Bak-Jensen introduces SERENE H2020 project.
„The EU Serene project will develop intelligent energy management, which combines wind and solar energy with green electricity from the grid, when prices are low. Part of the project is installation of electric heat pumps filled with salt-based heat stores, and electric car chargers installed with batteries, which makes it possible to use surplus of electricity, even if no cars are charging.”
