The Polish team SERENE project was present on the inauguration of the municipality transport system and the first municipal electric bus route in Przywidz, which took place in Przywidz Arena on 25th of February 2022. The transport network will connect main villages in Przywidz municipality increasing the affordable commuting possibilities.
One out of the 5 new bus lines (starting operation from 1st of March), i.e line no 868, will be operated by electric bus. It is the first municipal fully electric route, where the bus will be charged from the EV charger installed near Arena Przywidz. The bus can take up to 23 people, has 9 sitting places, its battery has capacity of 35 kWh, which provides a range of approx. 120 km.
Financing comes from Government Fund for Development of Bus Transport, Marshall Office of Pomorskie Region and Przywidz Municipality. SERENE project gave inspiration for electric line, as the project aims at developing and testing the electric transport in the municipality, by installing 2 EV chargers, including one with V2G capabilities.
